Wednesday Sketch Challenge 11th - 24th April

Hello and welcome to my blog today. I've recently been dipping into a Sketch Challenge in the Stampin' for All group on Facebook. I enjoy having to work from a sketch rather than the type of challenge that gives a particular stamp set to use. With a sketch, as long as you keep to the design brief, you can create almost anything with any stamp/die combination.

I discovered I liked Fruit Basket so much when I used it at Coffee and Cards the other week that I decided to buy it before it retired. I also got the corresponding punches but for some silly reason didn't add the DSP to my basket.

I know some people have used a wide ribbon but I felt this design brief called for DSP. Which led me to creating my own with the 4 fruit stamps. With some of the colours, I stamped off first so that it wasn't too bright. I die cut the 3 circles and stamped directly onto them, using full strength ink.

I like to try and balance my cards, hence the 3 little gems on the top left. I hope you like it.
